This month has seen Alex and Rich out and about at numerous networking events, meeting some fantastic local businesses. Alex has attended Business Breakthrough Gloucester and heard from Jennifer Willis, from HR Dept Gloucester, on her journey to running her own business. Rich has also joined Cheltenham BNI group and made some great local connections.
Alex and Rich also travelled out to meet the team at Baker Hudson Health in Stroud. They spent some time understanding how they look after their clients and seeing if this would benefit any of our clients. It was very clear the ethos for Baker Hudson Health was very closely aligned to Kirby & Knott Financial Planning.
The office has also been visited by Sarah Rawlings from the Gloucester History Festival, who showed what a great event the History Festival is in Gloucester and how it is helping towards the City’s ambitions for developing culture. Laura Brooker and Gordon Taylor, councillors from Abbeymead, also came for a coffee to discuss what is happening in the local area.
Alex and Rich have also been busy studying! As well as attending a brilliant Technical Symposium at Tortworth Court Hotel, they are preparing for their next qualification in Later Life Planning later this year.
Finally, February has seen the arrival of two new faces in the office! Debbie Kirby and Catherine Knott have joined the business as Client Service Managers. They will be delivering excellent administrative support to the business and ensuring all our clients are well looked after.
