This month has been busy with clients looking to take advice ahead of the end of the tax year, but we have also been busy outside the office too!
March saw our first client event held at Laithwaites wine in Gloucester. Hosted by Alex and Rich and with over twenty clients and guests in attendance, the evening was a great success. Guests heard some tips on investment planning and then they were treated to eight superb wines from across the world, whilst the experts were on hand to explain the background behind each of them. Our guests left some lovely feedback:
“Thank you for a fantastic evening last week. The presentation was very thought provoking and the wines were amazing!”
“I just wanted to thank you for inviting me to last night’s event. I really enjoyed the wine and the discussions.”
Kirby and Knott Financial Planning also entered a team into matches against the Abbeymead Rovers Walking Football teams this month. It was a great evening which saw Alex and Rich’s team battle against 3 teams from the club. Learning how to play football with a new dimension was a real challenge.
Alex said “It was so inspiring to see so many members of the club, across a huge age demographic, taking part in the sport. It really shows what a great community the club has built. Walking Football gives the sport accessibility for those that otherwise may not be as active. We are looking forward to making this a more regular event with the club.”
